The country’s now In panic

We’ve had ½ inch of snow

Children wander on the streets

They have nowhere to go

 

The councils closed the schools

Though that seems very hard

A kid can get hurt in the street

But never in the schoolyard

 

People have to walk to work

Despite their aching joints

The trains have all stopped running

In case of frozen points

 

Children wait with eagerness

For snow falling through the night

Just to find a spoilsport

Has banned a snowball fight

 

I’m fed up with these people

Self-centred mamby pambies

Non-descript and wooden
